Hi, I'm John Fallot
UX/UI Designer

About Me

I am a UX/UI designer with over 3 years of experience at a variety of nonprofits and small businesses.

I work iteratively and am comfortable with ambiguity. I rapidly prototype towards scalable design solutions. To this end, I create personas, user flows, user journeys, sitemaps, and wireframes. I also work in a variety of industry-standard tools such as Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Keynote, Principle, and InVision.

I love sharing what I know, and making both ideas and the teams that form around them work great. Colleagues have described me as curious, eager, empathetic, and thoughtful.

Outside of work, I meditate, run, drink coffee, talk politics, cook steaks with a lovely wine shallot sauce, and consume a healthy diet of podcasts.

My work follows a traditional double-diamond approach: Discover and Research Synthesis followed by Development and Delivery. I always take care to ensure that products are intuitive to use, speaking in a design pattern that clients and users will understands.
